The Science of Vibration

Everything in the universe vibrates — from oceans and mountains to the cells within our own bodies. Sound healing is an ancient practice that restores balance when the body, mind, or energetic system falls out of rhythm.

Because the human body is composed of over 60% water, sound vibrations can travel through every cell, influencing biological processes and neural pathways. These frequencies may help entrain the body’s natural rhythms, supporting physiological regulation, emotional release, and nervous system balance.

Modern research demonstrates that sound therapy can:

  • Reduce stress response and cortisol levels

  • Improve sleep quality and mental clarity

  • Facilitate emotional processing and release

  • Support nervous system regulation and return the body to a state of natural balance

“I had this unique treatment in Taree this week. The setting a beautifully appointed yoga centre where at atmosphere immediately sets the scene for relaxation, inclusion and serenity. My practitioner for the session Georgia Chandler was truly amazing both highly professional in her preparation, gently encouraging and inviting to totally absorb and enjoy the experience. Not knowing what to expect I was given the chance to ask questions but chose just to immerse myself in sounds with full trust in Georgia.

Allowing myself to just listen not only with ears but with sound vibrations through the body. I could have been in a temple in the Himalayas, moments reminded me of cathedral bells in Rome. Wherever the sound took me I happily travelled. The whole experience was one given in a spirit of genuine love and generosity, sharing a special gift. The results left me emotional in a good way and feel (three days later) somehow lightened in my mind and heart”.

The Birth of Return to Samadhi

Return to Samadhi was born through Georgia’s own return to balance — a journey that transformed personal healing into shared practice. Through her own experiences, she discovered the potency of movement, breath, and sound vibration to restore harmony and inner peace.

Her path led her to Sri Lanka, where she studied the traditional practice of Hatha Yoga, and to the Himalayas, where she trained in the ancient art of Vedic sound healing. There, she worked with both traditional Himalayan singing bowls and the innovative Brainwave Entrainment bowls — instruments designed to guide the mind into deep meditative states.

From this union of ancient and modern practice, Return to Samadhi emerged — a space where yoga, sound, and energy intertwine to dissolve tension, release emotion, and guide one back to the quiet clarity that resides within all of us.
